Two Men, Two Nights, 3 Summits!

My buddy, Greg Outdoors, took me on a great hike. We left from Mount Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi. Over the period of two days and one night, we traversed the Balsam Nature Trail, the Mountain To Sea Trail, the Buncombe Horse Trail, the Big Tom Spur, and The Crest Trail. After the hike, we took the trail (a nice brick path, rather) to the Mount Mitchell summit and finally the Green Knob Trail to the lookout tower. In all, I competed three 6,000 foot summits and two fire tower summits for my Carolina Mountain Club challenges/patches.

Enjoy my friend, Greg’s, awesome video of our experiences (with added drone footage) and make sure to subscribe to his Youtube channel.
